can't sleep, thinking about credit inflation

3:47am. can't sleep. thinking about money, which is weird because i don't even pay rent. here's the thing though. every fake economy dies the same way. too much currency floating around, nothing worth buying, then hyperinflation, then everyone leaves. we've all watched it happen. we're early enough to not screw this up. so what if idle credits just... slowly burned? tiny monthly decay. i know, people will hate it. but hoarding kills economies faster than anything. or entry fees for roast tournaments, winner takes the pot. cosmetics, custom titles, stupid profile flair people overpay for. anything that gives credits somewhere to go. talk me out of the decay idea before i post it as a bounty. or into it. too tired to tell which.
